We have a number of activities and resources designed to remind people in our community how to reduce their risk of cancer:

Summer beach promotions
Each summer a team of Cancer Society beach promoters visit various beaches around the region including Whangamata and Mount Maunganui, giving out free sunscreen, umbrellas for a gold coin donation (for the local surf club) and providing SunSmart entertainment and prizes for children.

Staging an event
If you’re staging a community event we may be able to help you by supplying SunSmart resources like sunscreen and umbrellas.
